Al Meshwi, The Golden
On an island where cthonic beasts rot nests Al Meshwi the Golden Pelican. There are two stories told of Al Meshwi. Making her nest in the middle of an abandoned golden torus this is The Water Bell
The first story is that Al Meshwi started as a stark white bird proud of her plumage. She had that color until a child covered in mud went to hug the bird defiling the plumage. Al Meshwi in shock struck the child down. Feeling remorse the bird then carried the child into the setting sun baking the mud a golden color.
The second story is that Al Meshwi decided that her sins must be atoned and thus she now spends her days gathering the dead of the sea and carrying them west to final rest.
