Animal Training Rules
Training Animals- an animal can be taught single word commands by spending 1/2 the cost of buying the animal and spending a weeks downtime in training. At the end of that week you roll a Morale Check for the animal and on a success (7+) the animal learns that word.
Teaching multiple words can allow them to be used in conjunction. Example "Search + Guard" Could be used to send a hound to find a lost companion and protect them.
Any animal that is injured or tasked with doing extraordinary things must make a morale check to obey a given order.
During Character creation a character may purchase a trained animal for 2x cost per command they know. This doubling compounds. A 2 word animal costs 4x as much as a 0 word animal. Trained Animals are rarely available for purchase later.
Different animals can learn different numbers of command words.
